To me, The Spirit Of Japan Tours combines two passions: my love for Japan and its incredible wealth of traditions and spirituality, and sharing this love with people. It saves also an endeavor that allows me to blend together my years of experience of being both a spiritual guide and a tour guide.
Although Japan has been my home for 35 years, I am constantly finding something new to wow me, to enchant me and to make me fall in love with this country all over again. There is so much to discover, to experience and enjoy that I don’t believe a lifetime will be enough to do it all. For that reason, when I curate a tour, I strive to combine in it all that is remarkable about Japan: its traditions, spirituality, art and food to give you, the traveler, a quintessential experience of this country in the short time you are here
I particularly love creating opportunities for my clients to benefit from Japan’s unique blend of Buddhist and Shinto spiritual traditions. The concept of WA, or Harmony, in Japanese is naturally and seamlessly incorporated into the very fabric of Japanese life, thus creating the perfect environment to find inner harmony and peace. I love taking people to the magical world of Zen temples, to peaceful meditation halls and ancient Shinto rituals and to help them discover their own inner WA – the place of being in harmony with themselves and the world.
Apart from the above, who am I? I am a wife and a mother, a teacher and a potter. And I never tire of exploring and adding to my ever-growing Treasure Box of Japan experiences. I love sharing these with others and I hope that one day I can share them with you!
